Was There a Mechanical Failure?
This was only their second crash after transitioning out and no longer being part of the Air Force. This one was pretty cut and dry from the beginning that there was no mystery about what happened. The investigator still go through the process of figuring out, was there a mechanical failure? Did something else happen? And I thought this part was interesting. They found plant matter in the internal turbines of the engine. If they weren't spinning, the plant matter wouldn't have gotten ingested inside. As deep as it did, I love little tidbits like that.
