I'm just getting this sense that particularly out if we cut out Guardiola and Klopp and Ferguson, those who have clearly failed spectacularly everywhere. I can't think of anyone in particular. Let's chop off the top 5% of managers. Let's look at the 90% in between. It strikes me that you can basically never definitively say if a manager is good or bad. But that's what everyone wants to know when their club is hiring a manager. You just have to guess the fit. They want answers for why things have happened. And this is a theme throughout this whole discussion. I want to know the answers to a discussion that really doesn't have many answers.
