The Power of Balance
Instead of thinking getting up, you are allowing the body's natural process to get you up. Instead of one muscle doing a ton of work, like the whole body joins in. The tension is more spread out through your body. And that's why it feels like watching yourself get up because you're not deliberately choosing it at each moment. It's just like you have an intention to get up and then you find your body moving to do that thing.
