The Importance of Set and Setting in the Personal Experience of Psychedelics

Alex Jones: I'm a big proponent of psychedelics. As you know, I've found them to be enormously powerful in my life. They've brought a lot of healing. What's your take on psychedelics in the context of what's best about the new age? Yeah, that's a great question. Psychedelics obviously is a substance and as such is immediately convertible to commodity far more readily than intellectual property of spirituality. And so while we are prone to think like, well, yeah, give them all acid and suddenly they'll all get along or make everyone smoke weed,. But what we really must understand is that language is our orientation to reality.
