The Future Directions of the Lab
The lab is studying children's fatial and bodily expressions, to learn more about what kinds of belief involving situations a two year old and a three year old understands. They are also taking a closer look at young children's understanding of teaching. Help seeking was long, for a long time, looked down upon, in a sense, because it seemed to indicate a lack of competence run to another person to ask them basically to help you out. However, we find that help seeking is a really clever skill that kids use in order to advance their own cognitive growth.
