Ketamine for Disruptive Behavior in the Emergency Department

Ruben Strayer: Ketamine is reserved for the dangerous patient. The agitated book cooperative, which we don't really need to do much with, maybe non-pharmacologic techniques or oral medications. These are the folks who only become a problem if they don't have a family member next to them. And it's not unimportant; it's just that it doesn't cause us too much trouble.
