Trauma - A Subset of Mental Health

Think about your own traumas. If you have a hard time knowing what they are, consider thinking of various adverse childhood experiences or ACEs. Adverse childhood experiences include things like abuse, neglect and racism. Acknowledging the underlying trauma behind some of these issues is what can help you to do the work to change your behavior and emotions. The second thing I'd love for you to do is see others through this lens. Let yourself soften to the humanity all around you. It will change how you feel in the world.
