China's Fifth Research Station in Antarctica Is Raising Serious Concerns
China started construction on what they called a research station in Antarctica in 1984. Now since then they've built out three more of those stations, but it's actually their fifth research station that is raising some pretty serious concerns this morning. It's relatively close to Australia and New Zealand, and they're constructing a satellite ground station. That could be used for purposes like scientific communications, but it could also be used for espionage.
