The key thing here is what the input and output data types look like. With stable diffusion, you're passing in the word ball and then it adds a picture of a ball. And that's not really what we're looking for here. A big part of the reason why there's so much complicated math around this is that what we want is a mathematical representation that precisely captures the concept of a Ball.
