The Importance of Drums in Music Making

I saw Paul Simon get inducted my wife is Swedish and I think through people that she and she's also she's a songwriter. They invited us to a thing called the Polar Music Prize which is a really cool thing that they do every year in Sweden. He said he realized at some point that if you get the drums right even though you could be way way way past the age of being a typical pop star then then the kids can connect with the music it feels new.
