The Pompey Human Genome

The remains of two pompey residents have been found. The man's bones contained diana from a tuberculosis causing bacterium, signs of the ill health that could have prevented them from attempting escape. Researchers also managed to extract and analyze ancient diana from their skeletons. This was possible only because the body was encased in that thick layer of thyme and heat hardened ash.
