The Negative Direction of Our Lives
I'm curious as to why you don't think we're going to hit an otter dystopia. Imagine that we have robots and AR systems and things which can generate things for us. What makes you think people are not going to be on their 3D printers, printing out cocaine, making love to robots night and day? And so the result is we have a degeneration because we're not focusing on things that matter. I think that's quite likely the direction that we're having in general. Our lives become gradually more passive, more based around consumption, than production, or engagement, and so on. But there's a pretty big difference between a world where lots of people can paint
