The Baby Boomers Keep Working Longer Than 65
The baby boomers kept working longer than the age of 65. We're finding that we just forgot to have babies along the way, or enough babies so that the working age population isn't growing. Labor shortages mean companies will have to raise pay and then pass the cost of that higher pay on to customers as price increases or inflation. Ed calls rising productivity the ace in the whole that will keep inflation from making a long term come bact like it did in the 19 seventies.
