Aristotle's Position on Motion

There is no difference between the internal motions of automata and live bodies. Aristotle enumerates four different kinds of kinesis in the physics. A third type or motion is coming into or passing out of existence. And then the fourth type is diminishing or increasing in overall size, quantitative motion.
