Is Existence a Predicate?
Existence doesn't add anything to my understanding of it, right? So existence can't be a predicate in that respect. It's non informative. How does he know that there are beings whose essence doesn't contain existence? And i think what you were just saying a second ago, matis, is one of our clues. If something can cease to exist, then we know that existence can’t be a part of its essence,. Because if it were, it would just exist because it exists, just by nature. All right.
