Kirk coban struggled with that in nirvanus il. The old struggle between subversion and incorporation seems to have been played out. Cobain knew that he was just another piece of spectacle, that nothing runs better on m t v than a protest against m t v. i think this is something that we're still struggling with right how do we, how do we do this? How do we create culture that is meaningful if the old forms of rebellion are already incorporated into the capitalist structure wer trying to throw off? Extremely challenging.
