The Balance in Decision Making

I think it comes down a little bit to personality types and the way that quants are viewed and treated by industry. You'll often hear remarks like, well, that's the quant perspective. Well, I don't geeks. We've heard from you. But now we've actually got to do the real stuff. And that, to me, is the decision making. So long as quantitative data and models are seen as tools, they're dehumanized,. their voice in a conversation.
