The day before the Nevada caucus there were leaks from intelligence officials to the Washington Post, claiming that Bernie was the new beneficiary of Russian interference. While Bernie ended up winning the caucus because again, it was like the last caucus remaining, Nevada was dominated by left wing activists. But then you had South Carolina in a week. And he lost by 30 points to Biden and that set the trajectory for the remainder of the race. You had this crucial moment, Bernie not having like the ability to contest this charge which was totally frivolous.
