The Importance of Being George Washington
George Washington is 11 years old when his father dies. The two sons from Augustine's first wife inherit the majority of Mount Vernon. George receives land in Fredericksburg, a half share of another parcel called the Deep Run and the 260 acre property his family currently lives on as well as 10 enslaved Virginians. But again, George is only 11, so he isn't really inheriting yet.
