In a patient where you don't know yet if they have varices or maybe an ulcer, does that mean you would put them on octryotide and not a PPI? That's correct. So sometimes you are fighting over the IV axis. And what is more important here, to give them a PPI drip, which is still done in many centers and octryocide at the same time.
