Catherine can put in the full amount as if she worked there the entire year with the exception of companies will often only let you put in so much per payroll. So chucking every paycheck into that 401k for the rest of the calendar year is a beautiful way to both say for retirement and lower the tax bill. There was a movie about her, but that sounds like a great cast of characters.
