What Is Aristotle's View?

Aristotle said that man is a political animal, not devious or Machiavellian. He thinks only humans have a sense of humour which allows us to talk about things like goodness. We're part of the animal kingdom, but we have these qualities that set us apart. Darwin thought Aristotle was the god of intellectual history because this fitted what he was saying.
