How Did This Change Happen?
Several groups from the mainland, several germanic groups, came over and started to sett and create kind of colonies or outposts in britain. These included angles, who were from what's now basically the northern tip of germany, along the baltic and north sea. And also frisians, another group that we don't hear about as much, but that's increasingly becoming part of the conversation. So all of these tribes, anglo saxons, jutes, frisians,. it seems, made their way over prob in small fits and starts over many years. This may have actually begun during the roman era. It might have already been going on
