The Ten Commandments and the New Covenant

Paul says in Colossians that he adjusts his fathers, appealing to their responsibility as well. Father do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. If tomorrow the mayor of Orlando passed a law that all citizens of Orlando must obey the Ten Commandments, why would we think that's going to be the best church growth move ever?
