The Distinguishing Factor Between Picture Books and Comic Books
LZ Granderson: I wanted to ask you a little bit about the distinction between the picture books that urban shelling that are being created from the throws of tumbler and how they're kind of different from like comic books or graphic novels for an adult audience. LZ: The one distinguishing factor is they were trying to be these coffee table books for people that were way outside of the age demographic to have coffee tables or coffee table books, he says. "There's not a lot of soulfulness in the genesis of hipster puppies," lz adds.
