The Making of Southern Rock Opera

A lot of the songs take the form of really protest songs in a very old fashioned way, which is something of a departure for you guys. We went to Sam Phillips recording service studio that when he sold Sun Records and the Sun Studios, he took his money and he built like his dream studio. And so that's the place where we recorded our record. It was like a time capsule from like 1962 basically with, with some early 70s updates here or there.
