Quantization and Fixing Up the Ball Model With the Atom
In quantum mechanics, the probability of finding a particle is described by its wave function. Wave function changes over time as described by the Schrodinger equation. Using that, detailed models were able to be constructed of quantum systems. The double slit experiment very accurately predicted the behavior of these systems and explained experimental results with amazing accuracy.
