Suffering is an intimate part of the human experience. Jesus was tempted in every respect becoming like us so he can sympathize with us in our weaknesses. Even trials where we pray lead us not into temptation or trials, that prayer, really like, why am I in this trial? The book has given me language and helped me see how I make more of my life than I ever thought possible.
