Is America's Governing Ideology?

In the last few years a lot of people who are disillusioned with what america looks like to day for various reasons, and we can go into those too. They started to feel like you could not, in public life, express discontent with the direction America was going in without being called an idiot. And then one day, trump came along. And basically all of these people who didn't necessarily have a coalition or a view of governments that they would necessarily all share, could use trump as a guy who just stood there with a hammer and bashed the course of history in half. It is starting to really reshape how the right sees itself and sees its project.
