Acorn Bread
When my grandmother came and visited our home, she loved it. It was her first time having acorn bread. Our elders always at first to try. And so for us, in maintaining that relationship with those elders who are still with us, who remember these things, it's just sort of built into alone society. Even after colonization. I know from myself, i would, and by choice, every summer with my grandmother. She was the accountant of the family restaurant. So even as young, it felt like something that was connecting me to something very, very old.
