I think there's two interpretations here, either like bartleby got his mind infected by death and hopelessness by reading all these letters that were meant for dead people somehow. And then he kind of goes at the end, well, everybody dies. That is that whay yu're getting at? But that's what i mean. Yet, there's almost this kind of suit of profundity to it where he's still searching to kind of incorporates them into hi leas way of thinking about things. Ye he he's a being unto death. As as a han points out, his design is a negative being unto death."
