Are Retard Learning Algorithms Experiencing Pain?
I'm just concerned that we're going to begin by building sub human brain like AGIs with sub human intelligence who cannot tell us when they're in pain. It's funny that on and a little bit depressing that nobody seems to be thinking too hard about whether reinforcement learning algorithms of today are experiencing pain. My best guess is that they're not but it's very hard to be highly confident about that kind of thing.
