When I lived in New Haven, Connecticut, Yale had a plan to isolate this poor city. Urban renewal was about keeping them safe and isolated from everybody else. It's generally like who controls what happens in those spaces? Do the people have a say or is it severely gate kept? Is it like, does it turn into kind of like a punitive space in some ways?
