I've Also Heard They're Called Buoyancy Waves

The density of air decreases as you go upwards in the atmosphere. You get this kind of ripples of low density and high density air that propagates upwards. To some extent, it propagates mostly upwards, but also down wind as well. And i guess that's called gravity waves. But i think i've also heard them called buoyancy waves. Weth buoyancyis kind of the opposite of gravity. Less dess to do with density that gravity waves is confusing with gravitationo waves.
