The Relationship Between the Democratic Party and the Working Class

The relationship between unions and the Democratic Party has been strained as well. There have been more efforts to unionize in industries like tech, which are very different from manufacturing. It's definitely a test to see whether unions can move into an era where work just looks really different than it did in the 1970s.
