The Story of Freddie Sager
Sager's arrival in hollywood coincided with the waning of what had been a glory period for female power behind the scenes. A decade earlier, an actress turned screen writer and director named lois webber had been one of universal studio's most valuable assets. Unceremoniously cut from universal, freddie ended up making her way to hollywood on her own.
