The Only Country That Supported America in Every War Since the Second World War Is Australia
I'm not convinced that the Iraq war led directly to Brexit. I think in this country, we are very conditioned to view the Iraq war through the prism of Tony Blair. The only country that has fought shoulder to shoulder with the US in every war since the Second World War is not the UK, it's Australia. And don't forget that before the Iraq decision, Blair had Thatcher into Downing Street and she advised him not to jeopardize the special relationship. Well, maybe he should have had a bit more faith in its endurance. You don't have to do exactly what your best mate tells you to in order to carry on being their best mate really.
