The RMT Executive Committee Will Not Call Any More Strikes
I get quite frustrated when people say this needs the government to step in. It only needs 2,087 people to vote differently at the next referendum and we will have reached a yes vote. I respect the right of people to strike but if we turn this into hyperbole or position in polarization, then we don't sort things. There's a meeting next week with everyone, although it's multiple meetings as you were just explaining. Could it be sorted then? I think the RMT will want to put whatever comes out to that to a vote. But I think it's not unrealistic to think that this could be sorted in January without further disruption. If there's a will there on both
