The Debt Ceiling Should Be Abolioned
Kaplan: I don't really see a value in the debt ceiling. It creates an economic cost that isn't really rational, so we should abolish it. He says countries like Poland and Brazil have spending caps rather than Debt Ceilings. Kaplan believes this would eliminate any kinds of economic uncertainty.
