The Importance of a Dream in a Labor Camp
The Indian workers at the center of this book had extraordinary successes. These are people who started in a labor camp and wound up free, and whose children are now thriving. In that sense, this story is an outlier. It's the exception rather than the rule. That type of recognition should be available to all immigrant workers in America.
