At yale, we found our forty dollar per ton carbon price wasn't having a big effect on decisions. But at microsoft, their much lower carbon fee did effect decisions. This actually fits what we've been learning about internal carbon prices. Other factors of the policy design may matter much more than the price itself. So how widely does the internal carbon pricin approach apply? Much like a box, the second dimension is the width of the internal carbon price.
