Passover Seder Meal - Do This in Remembrance of Me?

Non-Catholic scholar Anthony Thistleton says that this understanding of the Eucharistic sacrifice, it parallels the kind of memorial that was achieved in the Passover Seder meal itself. The Eucharist enables Christians to participate in the deliverance of the cross as if they were there. They are contemporaneous sharers in the drama. This is totally ignorant of not just medieval or patristic history, but even of Reformation in modern church history.
