The ANC's Non-Alignment to Russia
The late UCBismekizer had called it a nonsensical non-alignment also in the pages of foreign policy. But to some it may be sensical. I think that is what is really driving the ANC's policy on Ukraine and Russia. It doesn't make sense at all because Russia, it's trade with South Africa does not even equal 1 billion. However, there is 3 billion at stake in terms of exports to the US. And this is why most people, you know, struggle to understand the ANC position.
