Don't do it on promises. Trust that the people who use your product really do want it to succeed and they just want it to work better for them, right? If you're choosing between two products and one is easier for me to use, I'm choosing that one. Domino's changed their sauce recipe of their pizza because the CEO finally tried their pizza and said, damn, this is shit. You lose customers not because your product was bad but because somebody did it better,. And what does better mean? Easier for me to solve my problem. That's a key differentiator.
