Is the Training of the Networks Really a Model of the Learning Process?

The training of the networks is pretty far from biologically realistic, as currently stated. But that doesn't mean it can't be a helpful model for the fully trained a circuit. And so i think thinking about more biologically realistic craning poticles that might actually model the learningeinitial learning proscess itself seems like a big open area to explore.
