Most modern instructors don't like the phrase 'compress the gulf bull compression' It's not true. If i exert a downward force on an object, nothing of that force is going to cause the bull to go up. So it's false. But hitting down in order to make it go up is something that can change. That notion can change how people go about their business. You can top a ball hitting down too much or hitting up too much. The margin of aera gets so much skinnier when i hit down on the boll a lot.
