Mandara: A Commodity Derivatives Trading Firm
I was brought in by the owner of Mandara to help him scale his trading firm. He's a super motivated guy who grew frustrated with red tape at big banks and wanted to do it better himself. I think what's also unique about the owner actually is that he's sort of a bit of a geeky kink three areas. Firstly, he's absolutely obsessed with trading. Secondly, technology and thirdly, psychology. And my role was to make sure we identified the right talent and got that talent up the curve as quickly as possible.
