In episode one of this series, miriam sapuma from synchronis the earth mentioned that more educated papoa ne guineans are crucial to conservation. i took the ity to pose the question to garry to get his opinion. And he agreed fully with miriam on this. But he further elaborated on the specific kind of education, which isn't the one that western society has been accustomed to for the past couple of centuries. The only benefit th t there would be to indigenous people is that it would provide a revenue stream into a national economy and could then be re invested in development.
