As a therapist, i'm one of those therapists that says, the point of therapy is to get out of therapy, of course, and troll your own mind. And that includes controlling your thoughts and your feelings based on that core, as you said, intentionality. I want to add another piece that i found is so important, is being in your body, in the here and now. We can wilfully take long, slow, deep breath with a long exhale, and it will calm us down. That's just not something that e have to learn how o how to do what we should. It takes some breaths. As yell, some people see one son for 20 years.
