Is There a Light at the End of Them?
When I look at like you can see the light at the end of them. And from the very flesh, like from the tip of your flesh to about this far, you have a feel. It's just the slightest tingle, like the weakest electrical. These experiences are more about us than the monsters we bear. What also seems to be true is that sometimes like shadows, they follow behind us. Other times they leave. The lore of it all sticks around like some coal stain. Maybe, just maybe.
